Age Groups and Divisions

Open Division
18 Hole Open Division for boys ages 17 and under. 

Girls Open Division

9 Hole Open Division for girls ages 17 and under.  (Formally an 18 Hole event, we modified this for the 2010 Season)

Masters Division
9 Hole Division for boys and girls age 14 and under.

Futures Division
6 Hole Division is a coed division for boys and girls. Play will take place on a modified course with holes ranging from 50 to 200 yards. The age range for this division is 10 and under.

Eligibility

The date for determining which division a junior golfer will be eligible for is June 1st. Example: If your child turns 11 on May 25th, they would play in the 9 Hole Division. If your child turns 11 on June 2nd, they would still be eligible for the 6 Hole Division.

Junior Golfers can always choose to play “up” a Division. Example: A 10 year old player can choose to play in the 9 Hole Division rather than the 6 Hole Division. They could even choose to play up to the Open Division. While this is not recommended or encouraged, it would be allowed.

*Non Members of the KO Junior Golf Tour will be allowed to play in all events other than the championship for an additional fee. Non Members will be limited to three events per year and will not be eligible for the season ending championships.
